For The Love of Headphones

Way back in the 90’s a couple of Bills met; one bought headphones and one sold them. And let’s just say they got really good at it, so one Bill bought more headphones and the other Bill sold more headphones. After years of finding the right styles but not the right colors, or the right colors but not the right sound and technology they began dreaming of a website that specialized in headphones. Where the audio enthusiast could pick and choose their poison and the fashionista could mingle with even the most discriminating audiophile. And thus began their quest to seek out the best sounding headphones in the world.

So as you may have guessed, Headphone Authority is the love child of a 30+ year electronics retailer World Wide Stereo (wwstereo.com) and our dream to rid the world of inferior sounding audio. The Bills (see above) pooled their resources – (themselves obviously) along with the love and support of World Wide Stereo founder Bob Cole, an awesome computer dude with a sweet Polish accent (Hubert), an imaginative graphic designer (Emily), a well spoken musician (Ira), a creative marketing genius (Fern), and some girl that organized material and wrote stuff (we think she’s the coolest person EVER – Jillian). Harnessing our inexhaustible love of music and collective knowledge and experience, we have scoured the industry for the absolute best variety of brands, styles, colors and sizes of the most cranium blasting headphones. Because the right pair of headphones will have you hearing and experiencing that same old song in a way you had never imagined possible.
